Capabilities
Modeling, Simulation, Stimulation, and Analysis Support
NVision provides operational and technical support services for the Federal customers by performing analysis of acoustic seafloor models to support mission-critical functions. Analyst results are used to help the warfighter assess and minimize risk to military personnel and assets.
NVision maintains a team of experienced analysts who have a broad set of highly-skilled capabilities. Our team uses multiple computer hardware systems to support division processing, dissemination, and archive capabilities. We provide real-time operational processing maintenance and support during and after normal working hours as required.
NVision performs problem identification, corrects problems, documents problem resolution, notifies US Government (USG) personnel, and prepares and submits reports.
Software Engineering, Development, Programming, and Network Support
NASA selected NVision Solutions to build the agency’s emergency management common operating picture incorporating all 14 NASA Centers. NASA Headquarters funded the purchase through a Phase III Small Business Innovative Research Proposal.
We built the system using our proprietary “Real-Time Emergency Action Coordination Technology” platform known as REACT. The US Department of Homeland Security awarded REACT a SAFETY Act Designation as a “Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology” in 2010.
In 2011, NASA IT audited the NASA REACT System for compliance with NASA IT procedures as part of an internal nomination for REACT as the NASA software of the year. In order for NASA to deploy REACT it had to comply with all federal and NASA-specific IT policies and directives including 508 compliance, website usability, security, and documentation protocols.
The NASA REACT System connects all 14 centers using a centralized geospatial and web application server at the NASA Stennis Space Center in Mississippi with a redundant server at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama. The design of the system required NVision to incorporate data feeds from multiple agencies into a common operating picture. Data feeds included near-real-time weather form overlays from the National Weather Service, ship traffic from the NOAA AIS system, air-traffic from the FAA, earthquake data from the USGS, localized weather data from onsite networked NASA weather stations, and ocean buoy data through NOAA’s ocean observation network.
Additional software components included a disconnected desktop tool, a windows mobile client, and an iPhone client. In addition to the highly-complex software component NVision delivered two large-format, multi-user, multi-touch surface computers to the NASA Stennis Space Center and NASA Headquarters from interactive collaboration within the REACT System.
Measurement Facilities, Range, and Instrumentation Support
NVision performs operational and technical support services for Navy customers. NVision personnel pilot semi-autonomous underwater vehicles equipped with ocean-measurement instrumentation. Glider pilots control gliders remotely to view ocean structure temporal changes. NVision provides 24/7/365 support and pilots work within a classified workspace environment using both government and commercial software. Pilots also support glider deployments and recovery operations. NVision provides real-time operational processing maintenance and support during and after normal working hours as required.
Functional and Administrative Support
NVision performed and provides administrative, graphic arts, multimedia communications, and program analysis support services to the Federal customers at the NASA Stennis Space Center (SSC). NVision provided an onsite Program Manager for receiving daily/weekly tasking.

Quality Assurance
Through years of Federal contracting experience, NVision has evolved its quality management system to employ principles of various models and practices for optimal risk-reduction and cost-savings. Our QMS has been certified to both ISO9000 and AS9100 standards. The QMS has also been appraised to CMMI version 1.3 standards and was rated Maturity Level 2 with Capability Level 3 ratings in 11 process areas. The key to the evolution of our QMS has been that we do not blindly implement new models or standards. Rather, NVision has sought to draw connections between our corporate culture and the quality certification we are seeking. We have learned when to implement a new process and when to adapt an existing process. The result is a quality system that is 1) beneficial to our customers, 2) beneficial to our organization, and 3) highly rated by the certifying body. Our QMS gives employees a solid framework of best practices within which they can apply their technical skills and creativity, resulting in high-quality, on-budget, and on-schedule deliveries to our customers.
