Executive Leadership
Lalet Harvey : President, CEOSocorro Harvey is the President and majority owner of NVision Solutions Inc. She brings more than a decade of leadership and training skills developed though her distinguished career with Oral B Laboratories in Iowa City, IA.
Socorro founded NVision after working for another successful Mississippi high-tech startup, where she managed the day to day operations including data management, order shipping and tracking, personnel training, customer satisfaction and development of desk top procedures for the NASA Data Buy project and was a valued member of the GIS team.
Her desire to create an employee-centered business led her to develop the NVision concept. Careful selection of team members, personal improvement plans, and a sincere desire to see each and every person achieve their personal goals produced a highly cohesive, focused, energetic team not afraid to tackle imposing jobs using new and enlightened methods.
Don Peyton : Executive VPDonald Peyton devoted fifteen years to United Parcel Service, in operational management, before seeking opportunities at NASA John C. Stennis Space Center.
He was the first employee of another successful high-tech Mississippi startup. As General Manager, Don was responsible for hiring technical staff and developing the customer base in the Southern United States for the companys Washington-based owners. The company at Stennis rapidly expanded to sixteen employees. Through Dons networking of university and government agencies he was able to secure over $1 million in revenue in less than two years from hire.
In February 2002, Don partnered with Socorro Harvey to begin forming a start up a Geo-spatial company. In March of 2002 they founded NVision Solutions, a small, disadvantaged, minority woman-owned company at NASA John C. Stennis Space Center. Don and Socorro incorporated NVision Solutions in the state of Mississippi the same month.
Their shared vision is to grow the need for geo-spatial applications and products for the commercial sector. NVisions goal is to provide high paying, technical careers that keep Mississippi graduates from fleeing to other states in search of other financial opportunities.
NVision Solutions, Inc. as of November 2002 has already exceeded its first years expectations in both revenue and staffing. The Mississippi-based business already has secured numerous private and partnering contracts extending well into 2003 and looks forward to continued growth and stability. Dons philosophy for achievement mirrors a quote from United Parcel Services founding father Jack Casey, Determined people can accomplish anything. NVisions success through its people has shown this to be true.
Craig Harvey : COO, Executive VPProfessional Certifications: GISP
Craig Harvey brings more than 15 years of GIS experience in nearly all aspects of the technology.
A graduate of the highly progressive Geography program at the University of Iowa, he worked with the USGS for nearly a decade and a half where he honed his technical skills from the ground up. He spent more than 5 years on the senior GIS staff as a national instructor teaching GIS to water resources scientist across the country. Specializing in automated processing procedures and GIS model development, Craig culminated his career with the USGS by commercializing the watershed model BasinSoft.
Craig left public service to join a fledgling startup company located at NASAs Stennis Space Center in 1999. There he grew a nonexistent GIS program into nearly a million dollar program and balanced training and production while developing a first-rate technical staff in just under two years.
Intent on positioning his technical staff to capitalize on the Web-based evolution of Geospatial data processing and data delivery, his experience and vision made him a natural candidate to lead NVisions highly technical and eclectic staff.
Joel Lawhead : CIOProfessional Certifications: PMP
Joel Lawhead, originally from Oxford, Mississippi, received a B.A. in print journalism from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama in 1998.
While working as a college intern at the Biloxi, Mississippi newspaper "The Sun Herald" he began a career in Web site development by assisting with the newspaper's award-winning Web site "SunHerald.com".
When the newspaper's parent company created a seperate division called "KnightRidder.com" in 1999, Joel joined the "dot-com" gold rush and began development of the regional portal site "MississippiCoast.com" until KnightRidder.com dramatically cut its workforce in late 2000.
After his dot-com adventure Joel involved himself in the emerging field of GIS Web development with the realistic goal of building solid, user-friendly Web applications using proven standards at a successful Mississippi start-up company where he used his background in communications and Web development to build cheaper, easier to use GIS applications.
After a couple of years, Joel decided to join NVision founders Socorro Harvey, Don Peyton, and Craig Harvey in their vision of becoming industry leaders in geo-spatial technology integration.

April Baumgartner : Executive Administrative AssistantApril Baumgartner joined NVision Solutions on January 30, 2009. She brings with her 2 years of experience from the NASA Engineering and Test Directorate where she performed administrative assistant duties. Prior to her work at NASA she worked with the General Council for Hancock Bank for 2.5 years and as a paralegal for Copeland, Cook, Taylor and Bush law firm in Jackson, MS.
Jeremy Bell : Geospatial AnalystJeremy is a native of Waveland, Ms. He is participating in the student internship program with NVision. Jeremy is a Junior at University of Southern Mississippi/Long Beach Campus. He plans on majoring in Geography.

Pamela Bornes : Executive Administrative AssistantPamela (Pam) Bornes a New Orleans, LA native, since 2006 she calls Slidell, LA home. Pam spent over twenty-four years in the banking industry, until consolidation and realignment of the Federal Reserve System nudged her to make a career move to a different arena. Pam joined NVision in December 2008, as an Executive Administrative Assistant, located at the Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command in Stennis Space Center, MS, where she supports the office of comptroller.
Daniel Bounds : Geospatial DeveloperDaniel joined NVision as a Geospatial Analyst. He is a recent graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. He has a Bachelors of Science degree in Geography with an emphasis in Geographic Information Technology. Daniel previously worked as a data collection technician for Southern Mississippi Planning and Developement District to collect housing recovery data for the Missisippi Development Authority's Hurricane Katrina Housing Recovery Study.
Brooks Breland : Geospatial AnalystBrooks joined the NVision team in June 2010 as a Geospatial Analyst.
Kevin Bupp : Sr. Project Manager / Sr. Geospatial Software EngineerProfessional Certifications: PMP, SCJP
Kevin Bupp, originally from Layton, Utah, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science and minors in Software Engineering and Mathematics. Bupp joined NVision on Dec. 15, 2002 with almost four years of part-time work experience with NVision team members including 3 1/2 years of participation in MSU's Coop program.

Daniel Davis : Geospatial AnalystDaniel joined NVision on January 26, 2009 as a Glider Pilot.
Reed Davis : Geospatial AnalystReed graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2010. He joined NVision as a Glider Pilot.
Sean Dees : Geospatial AnalystSean Dees was a small business owner in the gaming industry before attending the University of Southern Mississippi where he graduated with honors with a B.A. in both Geography and History in 2006. While attending USM, Sean also performed extensive photography and GIS field work as a member of the Geography department's Petroglyph Mapping Expeditions in New Mexico.

Tony DeFelice : Federal Project Manager / Sr. Software EngineerTony recently joined NVision and brings 17 years of IT Project Management experience.
Ryan DiLorenzo : Systems Analyst / Programmer II / Jr. Project ManagerRyan DiLorenzo is originally from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Statistics from the University of Southern Mississippi with a minor in Mathematics in December 2005.
Ryan has been working with NVision Solutions since May 1, 2006.
Jennifer Ervin : Communications SpecialistA native of the Jackson, Miss., area, Jenni Ervin kicked off her career in the fast-paced newspaper industry as an award-winning reporter and editor. Jenni joined the public relations sector in 2003 when she signed on as a contractor for NASA Public Affairs at Stennis Space Center. There she served as editor of the long-running Lagniappe newsletter and the Orbiter electronic newsletter, and proudly designed and executed a publication detailing the Stennis experience during and after Hurricane Katrina. In 2006, Jenni transitioned to the headquarters staff of the Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command at Stennis, where she currently provides communications/graphics support.
James Fallon : Geospatial AnalystJames is currently a Senior at USM and is working on a BS degree. He has lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for more than 8 years. James is currently working as a Geospatial Analyst.
James joined the NVision team in June 2010.
Amy Fletcher : ControllerAmy Fletcher originally from Oklahoma, spent 10 years in the Washington DC area and received her AAS in Accounting from College of Southern Maryland La Plata, MD; and BS in Accounting with a minor in Business Management from the University of Maryland College Park, MD. Amy also attended George Mason University and received certification in Government Contract Accounting. Amy's experience as a Senior Accountant for Claims Resolution Management Corporation and Comprehensive Language Center, both in the Washington D.C. area, is a tremendous asset to NVision's federal and commercial contracts which are maintained in a fully DCAA-audited accounting system now hosted on DelTek.

Melissa Gartman : GIS AnalystMelissa Gartman received a BS in Geography with an emphasis in Geographic Information Technology in August 2005 from the University of Southern Mississippi.
In November 2005, Melissa began working with NVision as a contractor at the Hancock County Emergency Operations Center during NVision's post-Hurricane Katrina disaster recovery efforts.
Melissa became a full-time NVision employee on Mar. 30, 2006.
Ashleigh Gartman : Geospatial AnalystAshleigh is a Geospatial Analyst for NVision at the Naval Oceanographic Office. She graduated the University of Southern Mississippi with a B.S. in Geology.
Ashleigh joined NVision on June 16, 2008.
Aaron Gibson : Project Manager / Sr. Geospatial Software EngineerAaron Gibson graduated with honors from the University of Southern Mississippi where he received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. Before coming to NVision, Aaron worked at Tulane University in the Center for Bioenvironmental Research where he help develop web applications to support research and development.
Aaron's first day at NVision was June 19, 2007.
Brian Gobert : Geospatial AnalystBrian Gobert is a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelors of Science degree in Geography with an emphasis in GIS. Brian has previously worked in environmental Remote Sensing and as a GIS field technician in the utility services industry.
Wendy Griffioen : Geospatial AnalystWendy graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Geography with an emphasis in Geographic Information Technology in December 2009. She is a U.S. Navy Veteran, originally from Southern California. Wendy currently resides in Long Beach, Mississippi.
Bella Helveston : Geospatial AnalystBella Helveston is a Geospatial Analyst for NVision at the Naval Oceanographic Office at the NASA Stennis Space Center.

Joel Herr : GIS SpecialistJoel graduated in May 2003 from the University of South Alabama with a B.S. in Computer Science and an emphasis in Information Technology. Joel's main interests are in graphic design and web development and he is happy that NVision allows him to flex his creative muscles, so to speak. Since joining NVision Joel has learned the tricks of the GIS trade and has helped instruct several GIS training courses offered by Digital Quest.

Kent Hilbert : Geospatial AnalystKent is a geographer interested in practical remote sensing and GIS applications. He earned BS and MA degrees in geography at Indiana State University and Kansas State University, respectively. Originally from The Gateway to the West, St. Louis, Missouri, Kent relocated to the Gulf Coast in the late-1990s to support NASAs Commercial Remote Sensing Program at Stennis Space Center (SSC). He lived briefly near Jackson, Mississippi, where he served as a staff member of Jackson State Universitys Trent Lott Geospatial and Visualization and Research Center before returning to SSC to support the non-profit Institute for Technology Development (ITD) as a project manager.
Kent joined NVision Solutions, Inc. on January 16, 2009 as a Senior GIS Analyst.
Kevin Hill : Systems AdministratorKevin is a native of Pearlington, Mississippi. He joined the United States Army Reserves where he served as an Information Technology Specialist. He attended Mississippi State University where he majored in Business Information Systems.
Kevin joined the NVision team on June 10, 2010 as a Systems Administrator.
Andrew Hinkebein : Geospatial AnalystAndrew Hinkebein served in Iraq as a U.S. Marine. He also worked with Rockwell Collins as an Intelligence Systems Field Engineer before joining NVision as a Geospatial Analyst for NVision's work with the U.S. Navy.
Andrew became a member of the NVision team on March 27, 2008.
Jeff Hudson : Oracle Database SpecialistProfessional Certifications: OCP
Jeff Hudson, originally from Gardner, Kansas moved to Slidell, Louisiana in September 2007. Very soon after moving Jeff found his dream job at Nvision Solutions Inc. Jeff is a member of the Oracle Technology Network and has his certification in Oracle 10g Architecture and Administration. Jeff Is currently working towards his Oracle Master certification and is majoring in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Electronics Technology.

Chad Kramer : Geospatial AnalystChad is a Geospatial Analyst for NVision at the Naval Oceanographic Office. He graduated in May of 2008 with a B.S. in Marine Biology from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Eve Necaise : Geospatial AnalystEve Necaise is a lifelong resident of Hancock County and has been employed for the past ten years as the Hancock County E-9-1-1 Coordinator. She is a member of the National Emergency Number Association. She has ten years of expertise in E-9-1-1 mapping, E-9-1-1 APCO Certified Dispatcher, and Emergency Public Services.

John Ratcliff : Geospatial AnalystJohn joined NVision after serving 12 months in Iraq. John is with the Louisiana Army National Guard 1/156th Armor (2/108th Cavalry) and trained as an M1 Abrams tank crewmember before becoming one of the first employees of NVision's Geospatial Program.
John earned his BS in Geography with a minor in GIS from Louisiana Tech University.

Mark joined NVision from research partner Mississippi State University where he worked on a varitey of in-depth geospatial programming projects including the "NASA Fire Danger Project", research in routing, and 3D geometric problems.

Matt Wahl : Geospatial AnalystMatt joined NVision as a Geospatial Analyst in May 2010. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management.
Alex Walker : Geospatial Software DeveloperProfessional Certifications: SCJP, CompTIA Network+
Alex Walker grew up in the San Francisco bay area and received his B.A. in literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz. After working for several years in the publishing industry, Alex was hired as a web producer by the USENIX Association in Berkeley, CA and became involved with web programming, databases, and Linux/UNIX administration. Alex moved to New Orleans with his wife in the summer of 2005, just in time to turn around and evacuate back to California in the face of Hurricane Katrina. Upon his return to the gulf coast, Alex joined NVision on Apr. 24, 2006 as a web application developer and bought three goldfish, none of whom have names as of this writing.
Thomas Ware : Geospatial AnalystThomas is a US Army Veteran. He currently is a Senior at Tulane University majoring in Homeland Security with a Minor in Criminal Justice.
Thomas is from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He currently resides in Diamondhead, MS. He has been a Mississippi Gulf Coast resident for the past 7 years. His past employment history includes being a Production Planner for 6 years for Northrop Grumman.

Jeremiah Welch : Geospatial DeveloperJeremiah is from New Orleans and received his BS in Computer Science from Louisiana Tech University in 2006. Jeremiah is an NVision Geospatial Developer.
Suzanne Whitney : Geospatial AnalystSuzanne Whitney is a Geospatial Analyst for NVision at the Naval Oceanographic Office at the NASA Stennis Space Center.

Franklin Williams : Geospatial AnalystFranklin Williams joined NVision in May 2010 as a Geospatial Analyst. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in May 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Geology and certification in Geographic Information Technologies. Franklin is a native of Poplarville, Mississippi, and previously worked for the University of Southern Mississippi as a Teacher’s Assistant and also participated in expanding the university’s online campus mapping project.
Jason Worrel : ProgrammerJason Worrel is a native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. He has spent 7 years in the IT industry on the Gulf Coast, 4 at a manufacturing company and 3 at a large regional bank.

Larry Wright : Systems AdministratorLarry graduated from Midwestern State University with a BS in Computer Information Systems. In addition, he received an Associates of Arts from Hinds Community College. He is a native of Vicksburg, Mississippi.
Larry joined NVision on June 7, 2010.
Kathleen Ziegeler : Executive Administrative AssistantKathy Ziegeler works on location with the Commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command at Stennis Space Center. Her primary responsibility is to work with the N1 Total Force Department and the N8 Requirements, Programs and Assessments Department.
Kathy joined NVision in January, 2009.
